Certificates seem to make it easy to compare products and so they became a standard also in the armored vehicle industry.

These certificates vary in value and complexity the same as their products:

  - Simple material certificates, mostly provided by armoured steel or glass manufacturers themselves,

  - theoretical technical assessments performed by industry experts and engineers,

  - in-house FEA simulations and of course,

  - live fire and blast tests by well-known official and private testing-laboratories.
